The conference informal function is the first social function of CAUTHE 2020. It will be held on Monday 10 February 2020 at AUT and will run from approximately 5 to 7 pm. The informal function is included in all full conference registrations, and is very much a relaxed ice-breaker event. Additional informal function tickets can be purchased at the time of registration.
Tuesday 11 February, 2020 @ AUT
The conference welcome reception is the first formal function of CAUTHE 2020. It will be held on Tuesday 11 February 2020 at AUT and will run from approximately 5.30 to 7.30 pm. The Welcome Reception is included in all full conference registrations, is well attended and a great chance to enjoy networking and some great hospitality. Additional welcome reception tickets can be purchased at the time of registration.

Thursday 13 February, 2020 @ AUT
This is a breakfast session organised for events researchers – scholars and doctoral students who are active in events research. The aim of this gathering is to grow research connections and discuss the trends and directions likely to shape future events scholarship. We will commence with a local industry keynote and workshop around ideas, projects and actions deemed imperative for the field. The breakfast will run from 7.45 - 8.45 am.
Please Note: There will be limited number of spaces, so please register ensure you select this session when completing your registration. A light breakfast of muffins, coffee and tea will be provided courtesy of AUT’s School of Hospitality and Tourism.

The conference dinner is the highlight of the social programme and will be held on Thursday 13 February 2020, after the conference closes, and will run from approximately 7 to 11.00 pm. The dinner is included in all full conference registrations and is very well attended and definitely not to be missed. Additional dinner tickets can be purchased at the time of registration.
The theme for this year’s dinner 30th Birthday Party, a small nod to CAUTHE’s long running and successful history.
